Marcos Braccini

Marcos Braccini is a composer, arranger and musical producer. He has a degree in Musical Composition from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and has also studied at Fundação de Educação Artística, both in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He has produced a variety of albums with local musicians. He’s taken part in several projects, dedicated to contemporary and experimental concert music, Brazilian Popular Music and Rock. He’s also worked as a soundtrack composer for radio and television, working together with artists such as Sergio Ricardo, Arnaldo Baptista, Rafael Martini, Quarteto Taron, Robertinho Silva, Antonio Carrasqueira, Naylor Proveta, Leopoldina, Dead Lover’s Twisted Heart, Chico Amaral, Pedro Sá and Vítor Santana. He is a member of the experimental music group “Derivasons” and of the trip-rock band “The Junkie Dogs”. In 2014 he released his first album “Noturno” and the poetry book “Porenquantoparsempre”. In 2015 he launches “Wiara”, an album dedicated to chamber music.
